When to go Thailand,Weather

The best time for most of Thailand is from November to February, when it rains least and is not too hot. This period is also the main reason for the campaign Thailand festivals like Loy Krathong and Songkran.

If you want to concentrate on the northern provinces, the hot season (March to May) and rainy season (June-July in the spring) are not too bad, because the temperatures are moderate, and high altitudes.

Northeastern and central Thailand, on the other side to avoid the best from March to May, which in May, when temperatures rise to 40 ° C. Because the temperature in the same year are in the south (because it's closer to the equator) , Beaches and islands of southern Thailand are a good choice of the period, while the rest of Thailand is miserably hot.

Thailand tourist high season runs from November to late March, with secondary peaks in July and August if you want to avoid the crowds and take advantage of promotional fares, driving test, while the least crowded months (usually April to June, September and October). Although the rains have received (about July-October) a bad reputation, there are some bonus: the temperatures are cooler in general, fewer tourists and the landscape is lush and green. By region and the months of rain could rain for an hour in the afternoon. October, however, tend to the wettest months.

Place to Go in Thailand

Thailand has such a diversity of places and things to see that it really depends on your personality, what you like and how long you plan on being in Thailand.
Like shopping? . Thailand is known worldwide for markets and bazaars. without Chatuchak weekend market in Bangkok , I believe the largest outdoor market in the world. Or check out Tawanna market or the market at the Wang Lang pier near Khao San Road. And if flowers are your thing check out Pak Klong Talat which is the largest flower market in Thailand and is open 24/7. There are a multitude of markets in Bangkok!
Additionally there are other small market throughout Thailand. One of my favorites is the Moei River Market which is right on the border of Myanmar in Tak Province.
Or maybe your thing is the beach? You can't go wrong in Thailand which has hundreds of islands and some of the most beautiful beaches, clearest waters and best diving and snorkeling in the world. Phuket is probably the most developed of the islands, but if you want something more romantic and off the beaten track there is Koh Tao or Koh Mak. Or you can try Koh Phi Phi with it's amazing towering limestone formations, clear waters and laid back atmosphere.
Like the mountains? Then head off to northern Thailand and the cities of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. You'll find it to be a bit cooler here in the north and the mountainous landscapes are breathtaking. In addition, northern Thailand is home to the Hmong hilltribes who produce incredible crafts of silk, pottery and silver.
Nightlife your thing? Again, Thailand is world reknown for it's nightlife from the bars along Khao San Road to the go-go bars of Patpong and Nana Plaza in Bangkok to the beach bars in Phuket and really on any of the islands. If partying is your thing you'll meet up with many like minded travelers when in Thailand.
